DIY Thanksgiving Centerpieces
Setting the table for Thanksgiving can be a chore if you’ve invited a lot of people. The fun part is that you can make most of the centerpieces yourself in just a few easy steps. Whether you’re looking for something specific, or if you are totally blank and need some good ideas fast, the following are some DIY Thanksgiving centerpieces that anyone can make.
Moss & Candles DIY Thanksgiving Centerpiece
What you need:
- Glass hurricane
- Taper candles (with flat ends)
- Hemp twine
- Magnolia leaves
- Dried moss
- A small object to set the candles up higher (we used a small glass jar)
Group the candles together and tie them with the hemp twine. It helps to lay out your string horizontally and then lay the candles flat on top of it to gather them together. Wrap the hemp twine around the candles 5 times before tying the bow. Sit the candles in the center of the glass hurricane and on top of your small glass jar. Hold them in place as you fill the sides of the hurricane with magnolia leaves and dried moss until the candles stay firmly erect on their own. Light the candles and enjoy the natural, seasonal ambiance this Thanksgiving centerpiece brings to the table!
