Pineapple Nectarine Salsa with Lime and Cilantro
This salsa is incredibly bright, fresh, and beautiful! It is scrumptious by itself, with chips, or over fish tacos. Any way you decide to serve it, it’ll be a popular plate.
Pineapple: This tropical fruit contains a nutrient called beta-carotene, which helps people who consume this nutrient to decrease the risk of developing asthma. Pineapples are also an excellent source of vitamin C.
Nectarines: Along with many other fruits and vegetables, nectarines are naturally high in dietary fiber. This is a great fruit to add to any weight loss diet as its fiber count adds bulk to your diet and helps you to feel full on less food. Consuming an appropriate amount of fiber will also aid in digestion and help to prevent constipation.
Red Onion: These onions contains a type of flavonoid called quercetin. Quercetin is an antioxidant compound that may help to protect against cancer, heart disease, and allergies.
